Project Overview

Sushi Roll is a landing page designed for a sushi restaurant aiming to increase online orders and highlight its signature rolls. The goal was to create a fresh, modern, and appetizing visual experience that reflects the brand identity and encourages users to place an order quickly and smoothly.

Research Methods

Competitive Analysis

Reviewed 6–8 sushi restaurant websites and delivery platforms (Sushi Shop, YO! Sushi, Uber Eats, Talabat).
Focused on:

  • Layout and UI patterns

  • Product card structure

  • Use of imagery

  • CTA placements

  • Checkout flow

User Interviews

Short interviews with 6 participants who frequently order sushi.
We asked about:

  • Ordering habits

  • What makes them choose one restaurant over another

  • What frustrates them when browsing menus

  • How important photos and prices are

  • What type of ingredients matter most

Problem Statement

The restaurant’s previous online presence lacked visual appeal, clear product presentation, and strong call-to-actions.
Users could not easily browse sushi items or understand what makes the restaurant unique.
